Welcome to the Club!

This Club is deteticated to the horrible flashback sequence in the Batman Beyond movie: "Return of the Joker" when we find out why the Bat-clan split.

Anyone can join... on a few conditions...




.::Rules of Joining::.

1. Obviously you must like the movie.

2. You must be a fan of the flashback sequence. You can also like other parts, but the main focus of the club is the flashback.

3. No character -ing. We like all characters here... yes some more than others but I don't want any "Joker roxs! Batman suxs!" If that's your opinion keep it to yourself please. This club is for the whole flashback not just one character.

4. Send us a NOTE titled 'JOINING' and tell us your favorite character from the flashback. Please DO NOT post a comment about joining into the journals or in the Deviant Comments portion. We're going to be very strict with this rule and will not add you unless a NOTE is dropped.

5. Please put the icon somewhere in your DA journal(s) or signature.

For journals, it will look like this:



Just type : iconarkham-asylum-horror : without the spaces.

For signatures, it will look like this:

Just type : devarkham-asylum-horror : without the spaces.

The President and Vice(s) will add you down below to the members colum as soon as possible. Give it sometime people.




.::Rule for Submitting Art::.

Want to contribute a certain piece to the Flashback gallery? We'd love to put it up. Please read the rules of submitting art to the club. If you don't follow them, we can't put the art up.

1. Only Flashback related artwork from the is accepted. You can also submit Batman Beyond artwork as long as it is from the movie and refers to the Flashback sequence.

2. Keep it at a PG-13 rating! No hentai (aka pr0n)!

4. Send us a note.
Do NOT leave a comment asking us to add one of your pieces to the gallery!
The reason for this is: we may overlook it. It's fine to link certain art in comments, but if your goal is to get it in the club gallery, leave a note.

5. Lastly, if there are any specific comments that you'd like us to add along with you submission to the gallery, let us now. If not, we'll end up putting our own cliche thoughts... are you sure you want that?

We will sometimes resize the pictures due to how huge the original sizes may be. With all pictures, we link back to the original work.

.::How to Link::.

1. Submit your work into YOUR gallery (click Submit in your icon menu located just below the words 'deviantART')

2. Once you've submitted your picture into your gallery, click it. Your window/browser should show up with it. Located in the area where it says Address (top of your window), you'll see [link] ['...' represents whatever the url is]. See it?

3. Now COPY! To copy, highlight the http : // something [without spaces] and either...
- right click your mouse and select 'copy'
or
- highlight and press Ctrl (PC users)/ Alt (Mac users) and C.

4. Next, go to your inbox (where you send and receive notes on DA).

5. Type the club's name in Recipient(s) (arkham-asylum-horror) and a subject name (ex. Submitting Art)

6. Click in your message box where you would start typing the note. Either...
- right click and select 'paste'
or
- press Ctrl (PC users)/ Alt (Mac users) and V.
If you've done everything right so far and haven't copied anything but your link to the art, you'll see the http : // something in your note.

7. Type any special comments or messages you'd like with your link(s) and click SEND

We should recieve it and send you a note telling you that we will add it to our gallery as soon as we can. Patience is always appreciated seeing as we get so many a week.




.::Becoming our Affiliate::.

We support other DA clubs and invite any others interested to become an affiliate da club. Simply leave us a note telling us that you want to become an affiliate and place our icon somewhere in your affiliate list on your club's journal. We'll do the same!

.::CONTEST::.

Well considering we just opened up, the club needs an ID card you know. So that's the first contest we have going up! No deadline as of now. We need more members first.

Remember keep it in the Flashback theme, but it can have anything from the movie... it just needs to have some hint to the Flashback scene.
